Day 17

Today was 2 mikes recovery.

The phrase man the lifeboats comes to mind. The entire width of my garden had flooded and so knew it would be a wet one.

I wasn't disappointed, shoe lace issues meant I was delayed and crouched on the pavement fiddling, when a White van drove at hurtling speed past me, I was soaked, water logged laces, looking very drowned-ratesque I ran home, cursing White van man but cheering the fact that today I hit 50 mile total!!!

Whoop!

  1. Well done for hitting the 50 mile mark! Going for the 100 mark at the end of the month?

  3. 50 miles is just unfathonable. Wow! Well done you.

And damn those WVM's, a learner driver nearly crashed into me on the lanes today and while initially I was cursing their teacher it only took a few seconds to register the van just behind. Something tells me it was the 'peer pressure' of having the van right on their bumper through twisty lanes which was causing them to drive too fast.

Maybe WVM (am generalising a lot here obv) should remember when bullying the car in front to go faster that they are unlikely to be the casualty in the wreck they cause.

    Rant over.
